Anika Mette Caspersen
I am a PhD fellow at the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
For my PhD research within the TRANSFORM-FARM project, I investigate how Moringa oleifera can be leveraged as an “opportunity crop” to simultaneously improve human health, reduce poverty, and support biodiversity in rural Malawi and Tanzania.
My work contributes to the project’s broader ambition of moving beyond traditionally siloed approaches toward integrated, multi-benefit solutions for the interconnected crises of malnutrition, poverty, and environmental decline.
